First Aid at Work - 3 day HSE Approved


3 day First Aid at Work course complies with the Health & Safety First Aid Regulations 1981.


First Aid trained personnel in the workplace is a requirement of Health & Safety law. This 3 day workplace first aid course provides you with the ability to administer first aid safely, promptly and effectively. The course can be delivered on your premises and replaces the 4 day first aid at work course.

Training Includes

  • Acting safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency
  • Treating an unconscious casualty (including seizure)
  • Heart attack, choking and stroke
  • Wounds, bleeding and shock
  • CPR ( cardio-pulmonary resuscitation )
  • Burns and scalds
  • Fractures, sprains, strains spinal injuries and chest injuries

Delegates will also gain the ability to maintain simple factual records. They will also gain knowledge on the importance of:

  • Personal hygiene in first aid procedures
  • The legal framework of first aid provision at work
  • The use of first aid equipment provided in the workplace
