3 day First Aid at Work course can be provided at your venue in Southampton
This intensive 3 day first aid course complies with HSE (First Aid) Regulations and is practical and interesting. There is a final assessment at the end of the courses leading to a certificate valid for 3 years. The course can be delivered on your premises in Southampton.
Training Includes
- Acting safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency
- Treating an unconscious casualty (including seizure)
- Heart attack, choking and stroke
- Wounds, bleeding and shock
- CPR ( cardio-pulmonary resuscitation )
- Burns and scalds
- Fractures, sprains, strains spinal injuries and chest injuries
Delegates will also gain the ability to maintain simple factual records. They will also gain knowledge on the importance of:
- Personal hygiene in first aid procedures
- The legal framework of first aid provision at work
- The use of first aid equipment provided in the workplace
